"door.stop.start"

"norwegian.would"

Process - started out calm, got crazy and in the end I worked without "save as" because I love having no safety net. With MS Paint you can only undo three actions and then it is set with crazy glue.

Last version, warmer and more saturated - slightly:

John, this art is wonderful as usual. It reminds me of an antique envelope with surprises inside. The surprise might be ships and cities and even another envelope.

Thank you. I did not see the envelopes until you pointed it out. To me they were blocks with tones and strong lines....

Your blog text and your images make such an interesting "read."

I laughed at the crazy glue comment and was filled with delight at yet another musical nod, "norwegian.would." And Lord, you do surprise me -- who would have taken a photo of a doorstop? (Or two hotel glasses.) You, that's who. The artist who must see patterns and chaos and more patterns and more chaos in everything. And then introduces us to that unique vision.

I like this too! The big earthy blocks look strong and solid.
the patterns appeal to my natural nosiness and I just want to look closer!
It actually reminds me of code work, like there's a secret if I can crack it.
Hope you don't mind me saying so!
