On Tuesday, more Penn. I have not been to MoMA for quite a while. Here I still seem to be hanging around the staircase - it has the best light I have found at Penn. The other spot is in front of K-Mart.

Monday's commute - one staircase. No time to review other images taken yesterday.

I miss baseball. Not that I watched it everyday, but it was there like an old bottle of unblended Scotch. I love watching soccer, but baseball allows you time to think and remember.

All my best.

Friday morning - back to the Yankee Parade crowd at Penn - all images posted were made near the staircase leading up to the Amtrak and New Jersey Transit level - people from New Jersey or 9th Av. are coming down the stairs.

On some images it is clear who is heading for the parade.

I like the light neat the this staircase and, also, I like photographing stairs. There is depth, slower movement and convergence of subjects. It is harder to hang out there, though, because while there I am, in essence, in the way traffic.

Monday, Monday...

Thursday morning commute - one image taken walking past "nothing," another pose of a features muse, then one policeman at 5th Av. and finally my high rise's revolving door. Time of for some billable hours.

Thursday evening - three portraits on one subway car ride. Once at Penn, dashing to make the 6:36, and finally on the LIRR approaching Merrick station.

Is that a young lawyer holding a brown legal size redweld? The law follows me...

For me, there are the Beatles and then maybe the Clash.

Tale of two cities.Penn on the morning of the Yankees parade - more than a million expected in lower Manhattan to see the players on floats during a long parade.

The first image was taken on the escalator coming up from the Babylon train track.

A sign of the day - Rosa's Pizza, which never opens in the morning, understood the volume of foot traffic expected and there was a long line of people at nine AM there buying draft beers.

Then, on the E train north , those going to work and away from the parade. Quieter, sober. I doubt the woman in the bottom image would trade her Prada handbag for a Yankees cap. She is also drinking a latte instead of a brewsky.

Have a great weekend.

Subway shots and then a platform photo shoot. Luckily the subway was not running south on time so there was a long lull for me to make images. I left before the subway came. Congestion, or the lack thereof, on a Thursday morn.

This post is sort of like a old fashined 35mm "contact sheet" - where you see the negatives on a roll. Well, I am a bit more selective, but you do see my process.

And these all are shot blind from the hip or the chest. That aspect is getting easier with practice, despite unintended tilts of the horizon and errant fingers that still cover the BB lens, on occasion.

A patriotic post to commemorate the Yankees 27th World Championship. All photos from Tuesday morn at Penn. There has to be a flag in the purse in the fourth image.

All my best.
