"there.warm.er"

Frances beach sampled. It was sixty three degrees today and it felt like spring. Crocuses are out close to being in force.

"blood.and.flamingos"

"detail"

More than twelve years ago Marie and I saw a flock of about thirty flamingos in the Everglades - we had to walk two miles on a shady damp dirt road flanked by salt water canals and endlessly hounded by thousands of mosquitoes and in the end there were all these wild flamingos from the Caribbean - wading and eating and a few flying.

"or.chards"

Sampling made in part from Frances image of a bowl of fruit. Elements from a recent image in the basement also added.

I had added a very faint pink version of the above to pan.cakes. Maybe it will be removed from there.

Very cold for the first time this season - windy and horridly frigid. Gloves and chap stick weather.

It's beginning to feel a lot like February....

"cy.pan"

Cyprus and Japan - Frances and Joanne.

Carob and a lost.and.found treasure - it's a wrap.per

I am intrigued by Joanne's work - see my blog link to "Found in Japan." Years ago I looked for and photographed random refuse and tried to find beauty in litter- Joanne brings her finds home to record in her scanner.

Recently I sampled Lisa's "Christmas trees for sale" photograph and that image can be found in the basement and also with syrup.

"negative.space"

I guess these days I am just exploring and posting - raw vegetables - like Rocky pounding a slab of beef.

"cheap.ly"

"sliver"

Frances again, Cyprus, again - mucho manipulated.

An exercises....one, two, three, four - who else liked jumping jacks? I am still partial to squat thrusts.

Black is the new black. I know this is cheap. Sorry.

Here is a small version of a peaceful Frances photograph (I played with the color):

The sliver was taken from this snippet:

Cold.err in NYC today - saw my first flurry of the season. It actually was a lovely Nutcracker fairy dance flurry, but for my cold hands....heat bills.

"sigh.prus"

Frances image , man.ipulated. A type of tree there in Cyprus, I forget the.rest.in.peace.

I should read all the blog.words - I know - but I am ADD, which is to opposite of SUBTRACT.

A detail, further edited.
