All these photographs have color and contrast manipulated - breaking rules of most photography.
Oddly emulating painting, something scorned on since time of Edward Steichen. Edward Weston, my idol, would toss in his grave - like Jacob Marley of "A Christmas Carol" fame.

I love the dunes where ever they are
It gives the dunes an eerie light; appropriate as sands dunes are often quite unlike other landscapes, like being on another planet.
