"fire.worked"

This one has been kicked around for a while and has finally boiled over. I assume it is based on a sample but right now closer to a Vienna sausage than anything from my creative compatriots. It may have a wee bit of NZ summer sky....

Never ask what is in sausage. Or what goes into Uncle John's famous canned fresh bird soup, Lisa.

This image's first cousin is in the lint.trap.

God bless Tiny Tim. Not sujre why that idea popped into my mind.....

it is the English - christmas carolling and not thanksgiving with their turkeys. The Ghost of something or other. Your mind works like mine it seems - things pop up out of the murk, unexpected but sometimes pleasing.
is this implosive or explosion? it has something of that look. safety glass - so square splinters, can they be splinters if square?

It has the look of a fireworks diplay, or a fire that has been digitally re-worked.

I think John said that 'God Bless Tiny Tim' because it is Thanksgiving and he is like the patriarch of the family like Charles Dickens was the archetypical Christmas patriarch.(possibly)

I have to giggle so hard that it is making my back hurt. Oh God, you are so silly and so Monty Pythonesque. So absurd. I can't stop laughing! Now I can't say a damn serious thing about the painting, darn it. I LOVE IT!

Don't stop being absurd, John, don't ever stop. God bless you too. Hee, hee.

Intense colors... reminds me of the hills from Tiny Tim's ancestral land which we share in common (and, thankfully, nothing else :)

(I like being here now, later, almost closing time, after the crowds have left.)

I've been watching your work even though I haven't commented in months. I enjoy seeing the crowds, though. Makes me happy that you aren't talking to yourself any more, that your work is surrounded by well-deserved admiration.

I love this piece. It's a paradox to me -- soothing and exciting at the same time. Like fireworks and the chorus of "ahhhhh's" after.
