"crow.limbs.de.tails"

Details from work-in quasi-progress based on a UK picture of a crow in a tree. I added a link to Annie's blog a while back and she has been gracious enough to allow me to sample here.

I prefer the excerpts to the work as one image....maybe tomorrow, maybe someday. That is a quote from Bowie, I think.

I listened yesterday evening to an old favorite song of mine - King Crimson "Trio" from the "Starless and Bible Black" LP (now CD) . The song starts very low and you need to stay with it. This is the only version I found on YouTube - it is the CD recording with some odd Renoir video captures that are amateurish and out of focus yet disarmingly enchanting. Close your eyes if you hate the clip.....

When the song ends the guy just keeps filming!

Hey... I like that top one in particular. Its many different cut outs to me, each tell a story of another culture, of a different country.

These are great.
I made a post for Annie today too!
Coincidence? Or just as the crow flies.

The sound is so faint and now I hear the whistles. I love the shaky quality of the Renoirs, like they are coming to life.

The music goes beautifully with your images. The space opens up and the crow glides behind squares, so smooth that I can't see her pass.
Yet I know she is there.

Just sent you an e-mail, but am not sure if you got it.
I am going to listen to the herons or crows.
Peace.
