"sedge.wren.song"

Babaloo tree branches and a trace of a Lisa's raindrops. New Ireland.

Cold Friday morning - it may snow tonight here - so many of us seek the warmth of the spring. I hear the faint approach of wrens, spring is approaching - marching, leaping on this rare day.

Most of us will not experience twenty nine February 29's....bummer - life's brevity - one reason why there is religion and also why there also is art.

On a lighter note I do want to pass out one more award, belatedly, to Trijnie, a Woman In Glass . Trijnie was the first to link my blog and is always so kind. A truly amazing artist also. Go here for so much proof and inspiration....

Trijnie, we hope Hans is much better soon and goes out on a beautiful day to photograph Tommy (or his watch) among those lovely Dutch tulips. No, make it a coastline or the marsh. Nature, naturally. Our best.

Ok, I have come to share a secret. I have heard from an anonmyous source that GOD samples too!!!
GOD is also quick, I was still posting 3 other light photo's when a request came through for ferns and beaches. If you see him do you mind asking a lake will suit for now?
Thankyou.

Also, don't see raindrops but I do see these trees. They are fantastic!

When I look at your digital painting I almost hear the marsh wren. Today I watched 3 downy woodpeckers celebrate the joy of spring by flitting from tree to tree and playing hide and seek. So be warned, spring is on it's way to you. Only a few more weeks. Maybe by the time I start seeing dogwood blossoms :)

I came back to look at it again and also showed it to Eduard. We both think it is so beautiful. Eduard said, "He sure knows what he is doing!" That's what I think too.

I like this image. The top portion has an impressionistic watercolor quality. There appears to be an arch that was created by the sampling and the trees are reminding me of tumbleweeds on the side of the road.
Now I'm seeing almost what looks like the dunes at Cape National Seashore.

Very interesting!

It's cold and dreary here too.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks, everyone for your kind words, esp Irene - this one actually also has a bit of a Babaloo horse race photo, but colors and forms are so removed and warped that it is beyond a sample - if you squint you can make out horse legs at top in water color area....sky made out of hooves. Who won (by a nose).

I have never seen Sweet Irene at a loss for words! I have almost come down with the same thing, but no...

This landscape rocks! Nice work.
