"night.fall"

"run.a.way" (draft)

Samples of Babaloo - Ireland and New York, blended like a whiskey gone sour. The profile is closer to home.

They also have a quick taste of a video.Kris.heart.

John, I like the description - made me laugh. I prefer run.a.way. I think it's because there's slightly more red in it. Sometimes I really like red. Don't start investigating this psychologically, please. ;-)

Ah! It's not Cyrano's ..I see it better in the first one. A blend of Dubuffet and Ansel Adams with a dash of Pollock. Me like it very very much.

Hi John,

I like these - it looks like a city.

This is so different to what you have been doing lately. I am not going to interpret them with the obvious remarks, but just leave them and accept them as they are.

I like both of them very much and would be hard pressed to have to decide on a favorite. They look like negatives of very good art movies with color added. Oops!

I do like them a lot, John. The more I look at them, the more I like them. I would especially like a very large version of "run.a.way"

Well, I guess I do have a favorite.

I really like them, they have a child like appeal, like you might have taken crayons and colored your memories. You and Bobaloo make beautiful art together :)

Thanks for the kind words, I think these two are solid - like a mini-breakthrough or at least a hic cup - everyday I think I am ging into a horrible rut and then these two pop out....thanks - again.

"ging" is long island for "going"

These are awesome. I love run.a.way! Gorgeous patterns, static, color, texture.

Do you ever make these into paintings? I know you include paint, but do you take an image you created this way and also put it on canvas?

Thank you for your feedback on my post yesterday.

Kris,

I paint birds on canvas and some natural landscapes mostly with water. Been a while. Last good bird I did was a Carolina Wren.

Have not painted abstracts per se other than lighlights or overwhelming elements on photo.quilts.

I haved three young kids, commute about three hours a day and work in big ny city lawfirm.

It's after eight here and I am on train going home - halfway there.

Ohhh well. iPod on. All is good.

WONDERful.
I love scratchy look and the warmth. It has great nest qualities (which is a compliment of high status btw!)
Keep scratching, it looks good.
