Neda, normally kind and so helpful, needs to be cut and pasted one thousand times for tagging moi. This will be a dull exercise for y'all. Book "closest" to me is Michael Arkfeld's "Electronic Discovery and Evidence." No pic of this "best seller"-it is heavy loose leaf. The correct line on Page 1-23 (there is no page 123 in this book since broken into sections) states:
"ABA Model Rule of Professional Conduct 3.4(a) provides that "a lawyer shall not unlawfully obstruct another party's access to evidence or unlawfully alter, destroy or conceal a document or other material having potential evidentiary value [and] ...shall not counsel or assist another to do such act...."
I will quote no more....poetry it aint. Bloggers, please comment. Do you want lawyers to obstruct justice? Is obstructiuon a form of art. Is it high priced dada or just doodoo?

Instead, I will randomly open another book on my desk titled "Taxi Driver Widom" and quote one page (big print, fewer than 123 pages, sorry):

"Women choose who they love the most. Men choose who loves them the most."
Yes, we are not the fairer sex are we?

I tag Sue and an Artful Eye and Kris. Sorry. Mea culpa. Get thee to a library.....Modified Rules since that is what I do to deter Emee Meme Mine Moes:

Pick up the nearest book of 123 pages or more or less and makesure the book super obscure so no one can call you on your poetic license. (No cheating! No speeding! Pay all your taxes!) Find Page 123, if you can . Find the first 5 sentences or just guess if you have ADD like I do. Post the next 3 sentences or fewer, since who is going to read all of it, anyway. Tag 5 people. Or tag 2, maybe 3, if you are unpopular and/or lazy. Do not curse those that tag you unless you are pretty petty. Have fun pleeeeease.

What is a meme? Ten bucks emailed to first helpful answer.

Dear John, you have done the tag in your usual amusing and self deprecating style. Your are the lone wolf in the pack and will always howl at a different pitch to the rest of us, but then again, we are women and you are man.

I very much like today's image for the color and composition and I see many possibilities in it and therefor have stolen it from you. It was as easy as a click of the mouse. I have no scruples.

You only have to answer to tags if you really enjoy doing them, or if you feel that it is a nice gesture to do so. Sometimes, that is just the way it is. It comes with being a popular blogger, just like the awards, much as I know you don't like getting them either.

Never protest too loudly, only protest a little bit, like we all do to be polite. As you can see, I have the etiquette written on my sleeve. I should have it tattooed on my arm.

Much love from me, the not always so sweet Irene (that is pronounced ee-ray-nuh).

By the way, a meme is not some delicate French word, it just means ME, ME! Because it is all about ME!

Dear John,
I'll see you in Tag.Hell.O.

Love your DNA in progress. Can't wait to see it complete.

I had a feeling I'd come down with this meme (like the flu?) so I've got my book all ready!

Meme: what opera singers sing to practice scales.

hi John
the draft reminds me of a city laced by sequined curtains...
I like your alternate name for memes...very cute
that quote is quite realistic...it's good to know that taxi drivers have it all worked out at least :)

So I still don't know what a meme is.
Its a complete invasion of women here.
Where are all the blogging men?

I have to laugh about the: woman choose..... text. Is that true ladies?

Hey John! Let me get the guillotine!@! Thanks for playing along and I am so glad you are not my lawyer :))

I don't know how you survived reading all these *delightful* law books...zzzzz ..Now the taxi driver one is ..how shall I say...a bit off the tracks..Since you have a bevy of ladies flocking to this blog (as Trijnie said), maybe they will tell us a thing or two about the real secret of how women choose (Happy early Valentine's Day)..

Thanks for playing, John. Truly... (and yes, I am not always very sweet...just ask my sister Rima :)

A meme is what Prince Charles and other upper class people calls their mother.

Hi John,

I am still confused too about what a meme is ... but I suppose that is my natural state at the moment!

Fun choices ... out of context there are fun anyway!

Hi John, I was wrong about the definition of what a meme is and apparently Andrea got it right. It turns out to have Greek roots.

So, although it sounds like it is all about ME! it doesn't have to be.

This meme was fun, there are some others that are a complete bother, that nobody wants to play, but what the heck. If you don't know what to write about, do a meme.

Ha! John I will have you know that you were only safe from my tag because NEDA beat me too it!
However I was feeling kind and decided one tag would be enough.
Incredibly boring sounding book by the way! lol However you did make up for it with a humourous (where's that spell check gone??) post so you shall be forgiven. That the fact that you do lovely things with poached treasures:)
Hmm, now the moral dilema...do I want lawyers to obstruct justice? well that would depend on if we were it was a lawyer obstructing on my behalf. Just kidding. I guess obstructions could make things interesting but I do love good fight won well or lost well and cheating is weak. Best to follow the example of foxes instead. Is it art? I would think that depends on how good you are at it..
My 2c anyway. Not that we have 2c in NZ anymore but you know what I mean! lol
