"new.zea.york.land"

Screenshot from lovely blog entry, led to image above. Spun with permission so I thank you. I am not sure I have varied enough from the original to be "mine" and I like that ambiguity today. Lisa, consider it yours.

For this one I think I had the misfortune of the losing original screenshot. A "save" error where a save did not save but overwrote reality. Two baseball terms that when combined cause computer art ache.

I really like poaching from new blogfriends. The process inspires and leads to shared vision, my efforts echoing honest expression.

Traditional galleries are powerful yet antiquated. Here via links we create a "world guild" - a meeting hall/exhibition hall where members encourage creativity and foster dedication...and reciprocate passion. I like this community, as usual I am not being very emotive.

Let's call it grounded.

Hope you are all well.

What a lovely suprise to come on here this morning to see this! Fitting too that I should be the first to comment!
I love the name. new.zea.york.land
I love the negative affect.

I'm going to digest this better and come back. Too many people interupting my train of thought at the moment. I've right clicked the photo and saved it to my folder..I would like to post our little piece of collaborative art to my blog if that is ok?
I'll call it "Grounded in new.zea.york.land"

Back soon!

Ok I'm back!
I really like that photo negative effect. It picked up the fibre details of the material beautifuly. The material was originaly from a boquet(sp!) of flowers. The edge has a lovely textured look- showing that it's had a previous life. (This is now it's 3 reincarnation!)
I like the way it's shown off the different (yet subtle) tones of the 'bunny tail' on the right. I picked that on a bike ride to a local beach called Anzac Bay. You can see a photo of it still growing on my photography blog if you wish too!
I like the way it's also inverted the seed pods yet the original colour you've left showing show's it looking 'popped out.' A bit like the life cycle of the real seed pod.
I also like the way you left the bits of computer icons showing. It reminds me of labels helping to tell a story. I feel emotionally connected to my version of this and I feel it's in very good hands with you! I'm pleased to see it here and look forward to the 2nd installation!

I hope you and Lisa don't mind, but I have "stolen" that image and I am going to do something with it myself. If either of you object, please let me know. I can't resist the artistry of it.

Funny, was just showing my husband John's version of the collage and also being nosey to see what everyone else thought about this reinvention... it looks like a new game of tag has started. I consider this version of the collage to be John's so what ever he says goes :)

Ok...I promise I'm not stalking you! Just wondered if you were tagged? If not and you want to play please visit my blog for the rules:)

Going now.....again.

It is Lisa's image, slightly altered - so hide and seek more than tag, no?

Irene, you can sample anything I post here - I trust ya (not a typo).

Two..three..four peas in a pod??? My, your circle is growing! And that's really the spirit of our lost souls (?) vying for a real made-up community..

Grounded. I like. Flights of fancy? You. bet.
