I want to point everyone to Cory's beautiful handmade jewelry - one piece is here. Marie has a necklace made by Cory and it is a treasure. Cory teaches and creates. She is a splendid artist.

I spent the morning train ride listening to Buffalo Springfield, a late 1960's band that included Neil Young and Steven Stills. Both reunited, a few years later, in Crosby Stills Nash & Young. Here are the last set of lyrics to the Young song, "Broken Arrow:"

The streets were lined for the wedding parade,
The Queen wore the white gloves, the county of song,
The black covered caisson her horses had drawn
Protected her King from the sun rays of dawn.
They married for peace and were gone.
Did you see them, did you see them?
Did you see them in the river?
They were there to wave to you.
Could you tell that the empty quivered,
Brown skinned Indian on the banks
That were crowded and narrow,
Held a broken arrow?

Enjoy your Tuesday. Warmer here just for today. In many weeks, the hope of first crocus.
