"win.ter"

Cherry blossoms are a memory and our months long fate - this image, cropped and man.ipu.late.d, came from the same gene pool as my image in the post directly below.

Twist and turns. Frost.bites.

In the Van Gogh exhibit currently at MOMA one of my favorite paintings, "The Sower," is strongly influenced by the Japanese wood block print. I have been borrowing a lot from Japan lately.

It looks like it was very delicately embroidered onto the canvas by a pair of very patient hands. An almost lost and forgotten art in tiny stitches. Well done, John.

Beautiful, extraordinary works these past couple of posts. I've been watching over you but not enough time to loiter.

I love win.ter and fast.food.leave and cy.pan. Great works. I must visit Joanne's site too.

Forgive me for my absence. I'm dining and dashing these days, crazy busy.

Happy Thanksgiving! to you, Marie and your children. I'm grateful for our friendship.

An honor to be sampled along with a MOMA moment.

A toast, Cheers to cherry blossoms in winter.

Lucky you could see Van Gogh.
In Japan they call him "Go-Ho" (phonetically, goh-hoe)

I can see the Japanese influence John...
lovely delicacy in the cherry blossoms ...
that texture in the cream shape is such a great contrast...

Awesome! I like this a lot. It has great nest qualities with a few cherry blossoms.
