I know that Christ lives and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Him. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is Gods true church on the earth.
John, the last post and this one reveal a magnificent new direction. I absolutely love the use of large spaces of color. The intricate lace-like details and their positioning within the artwork is very well chosen. En plus, I am impressed by the fluidity and gestural overall feel of that piece. It is truly one for the books! More! More!!
Very, very well done, John! I especially like the balance of the third one, but all three are good.
I don't know what's come over you lately, but you are moving onto new grounds and are expanding all over the place. It's great to see this development.
I am more than usual very fond of your colors, even your whites are better than average. I love the little bit of rusty red in the third one.
I love where this is going! The wings of the butterfly are just perfect, I love the effect you used on them and the way the blue interacts with them. Can't wait to see what's to follow! Lisa:) PS love the response to the first comment.
oh, john, please try a more flexible software than Paint - you will amaze yourself, and us, i promise. you're loosening up so nicely here, it's a pleasure to see - i also see you've influenced frances a little in her latest :D
Ohh, I saw that faith. Now seek hope and charity. Charity is coming via FedEx ground... So lt's pray for hope.
Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments. I do intend to start working with bigger format vbut think will need to sample less or find tight close up images. Will have to take my own close ups to make them larger elements. I will post a paimnt.net butterfly pic that is larger and the elements get lost in the whole.

This beats the typical hack comment - wonder if itg really is God talking to me.
