what a lovely collaboration....guessing marianna might just be the light of your life!
i love the dreaminess of this too, but then im partial to blurs and soft edges...

...and then you go and make something completely different like this. It is like you are a totally different artist than the one who was here yesterday.

Even though this is about Mariana, the light of your life, I like this style of collage less.

I don't like the dreaminess and the blurs and the soft edges. I like it better when you make bold statements, although I don't say that I am not partial to romanticism in your work. Just not the very feminine soft kind like this.

By the way, I think your Mariana is a beautiful little girl.

I was harsh, I tend to be that way in the morning. It is a lovely tribute to your little girl and I should have accepted it as such. Sorry about that.

No apologies needed.

I start with something and then it becomes a journey.

This one started with some brush, got overtaken by a sunrise and then I remembered a picture taken around the same time and layered it.

I am happy with it and it is kind of private and sappy. I can take sappy sometimes.

They are what they are. No worries.

I like your honesty and admire it, honestly.

Vaya con Dios, you Dutch socialist.

Big feminine hug.....

Beautiful, color, composition dream-like and ethereal. Sweet Mariana. I feel sappy.

No fair taking stuff away because I don't understand it, John. I am just an amateur amongst pros. Or weren't you happy with it yourself? God knows I don't own the last word on what is good art. Is it in the basement maybe, being recycled? I'll go have a look.
