"fireworks.fireflies"

Andrea's fireworks, simply sampled. On the Fourth I noticed both fireworks and fireflies - one doing it on its own power and possibly with the chance of getting lucky....ahh, and without the likelihood of having fingers blown off.

A bit girly for me, though....but, a great idea that keeps on giving.

These are fantastic. I love these as a series, a crystal glass-like effect. Very cool images from some hot pyrotechnics..firefly.love

This is completely different, and I love the idea of making fireworks blue.

We always go to the displays now. They always do a great New Year round us though, and lots of people have one light boxes (a mini fireworks display)of fireworks which all go off at the stroke of twelve in lots of people's back gardens.

They are dangerous. On Millenium Night we had some fireworks in our back garden but the ground was soft and the poles slipped sideways. As a result a rocket set off at right angles along our shed like an exocet missile. Another rocket entered our kitchen causing assorted guests to scatter and leaving a black crator in our kitchen wall. Fortunately we all lived to tell the tale, but as I say, we always go to displays now.

Harry, this is an exquisite series.

True haikus in blue.

A gift to my soul.

I too thought of Asian designs when I saw this work. It could be a textile design on a kimono for a special occasion. Lovely!
