"under.ground"

Woke up early Sunday and in the still dark heard a Northern Cardinal singing nearby outsode in the cold morn. There a was sliver of moon and a couple of bright stars out my window, framed by my still bud less white dogwood's branches. It is not quietest just before the dawn.

This image depicts the warming soil - the melting pot for crocuses, then daffodils, soon tulips followed by azaleas. And then the white dogwood - my favorite spring tree.

A linear reproduction of a mass of organic shapes, interrupted by memories of white patches of snow maybe? Or are they erasures or bits of clouds of the day to come?

I sit and ponder.

Happy always with a new collage of you and happy to sit here and take it all in, always wondering how you created it and how you came to think of it.

Good work, John.

John,
This piece is wonderful. I feel like I'm dirt level and the earth is beginning to move for new plantings just beneath a window sill.

Fantastic! I love dogwoods. I wish we could experience them here but it's too darn hot here in a couple of months.

Tame those balls,(in the air)- :) enjoy your time with family, plants and spring and really do try to not take work home.

Happy Joyous Spring and Renewal-
Enjoy-

hi John..
there's nothing quite like the quiet before dawn....and the stillness...
this is lovely...
fragments of spring dancing freely amidst the structure of the garden beds....
I hope the juggling balls are cooperating with your schedule :)

Hi John,

Cardinal .. there is hope then!

I like your interpretation ... I had seen grief and things falling apart, but, then, I had just visited Irene ..
