"odd.old.new.even"

Debi sampling - as we march on. Double post day. Also tree limb fragments from Babaloo.

Been out a lot today - indoor soccer and errands. Wanted to go to a duck decoy show but had other commitments,. Do hop[e to get to flower show tomorrow - very large indoor nursery like eight barns.

I like decorative gardening and this show has forced blossoms so for me it is wild to see at peak tulips next to perfect roses near hostas and lilacs near sunflowers. All portions of a summer merge and overlap - dream like.

I like the complexity and harshness of this adaptation. This one foams.

I love the bottom 3/4's of this piece. First thought that came to mind was Dark Shadows. It Gorey..esque. I loved Dark Shadows.

Thanks for bring me back.

Sounds like you had a nice day out and about. Hope the weather is being kinder to you and yours.

Best- Andrea

What a wonderful image you made. It is as if it is a double reflection in a looking glass or in a window with the bright sunlight on top.

I looked at it for quite a while, but trying to describe it destroys its beauty to me. Suffice it to say that it is beyond words. So I will just say: Wow! As I have done before and doubtlessly will do again.

I love this! What I really like about it is I feel like I am looking at the trees reflected in the window of the other image. The layers are terrific together, the depth is great.

I also agree with Sue about the colors. The light blue in with the magenta, reds, and purples is outstanding.

Very nice work, John. Tres inspiring today.

A duck decoy show???
Really?

Love this image, I like how you are leaving recognisable segements, this looks like it as a reflection too. Very nice. It has a peaceful medatative feel to it, day dream yet not fragile.
Can't see the ducks though. The decoy's arn't working:P

You are all very kind - thank you.

I likle carved decoys - not a hunter, but I appreciate the art form a lot. My friend carves. He also duck humts.

I kill mice - all gone, btw. Make school puppets. Watch my son's soccer games and cannot wait until winter league is over where we are getting killed by significantly better teams.
