I am drawn to photographing stairs and escalators, stairs feature prominently in today's post - mostly Penn Station, but one midtown staircase. Monday, Monday commute - so good to me.

I was going to say the same thing. There are a lot of ethereal things going on. Do you believe in an afterlife? You may be capturing it on camera. Who's to say that the other life doesn't manifest itself on your photos. We may have to have a closer look at them.
Yes, these images confirm the feeling that our waking lives are as dreamlike as the lives we live in our dreams ... These photos make me think of souls or dreambodies swooshing through time and space.
the back lighting in this last one is amazing-- another ghostly one which is delightful to me.
