"pitcher.this"

Sue sent me a photo of an amazing plot of pitcher plants - a fly's nightmare garden.

This one is shot from the hip - fast....

Not bad for a fast hip shot, you weren't aiming at all, were you? I don't know what to make of it. It looks like very brittle candy, like caramel in the color purple. I want to reach in and break it into pieces and have some. If people want to eat your art, that is good, isn't it?

Reminds me of stratching wax to reveal the myriad colours behind. (We did this at school, don't know whether it's the same in the US)

I'm with Bev. It reminds me of the reveal you get scratching through layers of colored wax. I love these colors and the light textural, organic quality of this image.
