hurrying autumn in for us.
Just got back from a long drive to Camborne to see my aunt - the weather was appalling all the way there. Sunny while we sat and chatted in the kitchen and appalling all the way back. Beautiful but hard to drive. Black clouds heavy rain and beautiful half rainbows.

This is very beautiful, John. It reminds me of very delicate moth wings and old paper and ancient scripts. I like the colors very much, so muted and so appropriate.

Cedar Waxwings and Woods and CAMELS. You forgot to mention the camels, known the world over as harbingers of Fall.

I'm teasing you, John. This quilt, while somewhat warm and cozy, has a sense of foreboding in it. Predicting an especially cold winter maybe?
