"sols.tice.2008"

"snip.it"

Compressed version of a draft larger file and a snippet from that file - a grab and paste, if you will.

I am more used to the rectangular composition - having grown up with 35 mm camera format and then my fine, Ms Paint. I am not square, but seem to be getting more so every day.

Longest day of the year - shortest night. "Getting lighter later." A friend's lyrics from a song entitled "Taking Risks in Spring." The early 80's.

These have a suitably magical feel because it is a mystical and magical time of the year.

Bold and beautiful, John, all four of them. they make statements. Like "damn it, here I am and I am meant to stay and don't overlook me." You've gone from hesitant to assertive. There's no doubt about the man behind these images. He packs a whopper. I would love to play with these images and would if I were in my creative mood. I will come back to these and try them out later. Dare I look in the basement? What is collecting lint there? Sometimes some really good pieces are.

nah, you are no old square. Yet.
Are you straight, though?
Here in England, straight is a good troublesome word - it means at least 3 different things to 3 sets of people. To those who like grass, straight is someone who doesn't - to those who like to live outside the law, those who don't are straight - to everyone else it is only about sexuality.... so in one sense you are out of the group, in another, in the group -
I love confusions of jargon - do these confusions arise in the States?
It is light but raining heavily at the moment. Is it getting lighter later? from now on? and darker sooner? How long are the days where you are?

Happy Summer! It's reading 120 degrees in the backyard.

Hot..hot.hot and dry. Like the desert needs the rain and summer breeze makes me feel fine.

Beautiful tribute to the solstice!

Try not to work too hard, it's not what it's cracked up to be and life's too short.

Need to check the lint trap.

OK, I am straight and of Spanish ancestry.

Thanks all - Sunday and I am at work - 7.5 hours - tomorrow Greg graduates from the 6th grade (new school next year (lockers and different classrooms and teachers) and then I come to the office to celebrate my love of litigation.

Yesterday was Alex's birthday - got legos, toys and a Nintendo DS Lite. V-i-d-e-o.

Congratulations to Greg!! I remember how much fun it was to start with new peeps, looseleafs and bookstraps. We didn't have lockers in the 1800's. (that's what I feel like today)

Happy Birthday to Alex!
Busy, busy Mora family. Hope Marie is keeping her wits about her.

Have a great week!
