Tuesday morning, Penn Station.

Macy's white star red Christmas shopping bag.

E train, morning commute northbound.

5th Av. platform.

E train public display of affection, evening commute.

Penn stairs, concourse and track.

LIRR winter boots.

Went to MoMA yesterday. There is a new Tim Burton exhibit currently open to members only for preview. There was a huge line, over a thousand people, apparently waiting to get Burton to sign his book. We saw Tim Burton in the distance when he came in - there was a roar and he waved. Adulation.

Yesterday I went at lunchtime to Rockefeller Center where they are putting up the Christmas tree. Years past I have often gotten a small pruned branch to take home and place in water. That way when the tree is lit we have a little part of it on the mantle. They had a lot of trimmed branches, but the guard said he could not give any out....bummer.

At Penn they took down the Amercian flag and put up Christmas wreaths.

These images go back to Tuesday. Have a great day.

There is always a guard that has to feel important and prohibit some minor request. I wonder who makes up stupid rules anyway.

Have a great day,

Tis the season to be jolly! The christmas decorations in streets and shops seem a bit later this year. Amazing to think you've had a little bit of such a famous tree sitting on your mantel! We don't even have a mantel..the stockings are hung from the window latches...
