"stay"

This sample came from Babaloo, a woman living in Ireland known to Sweet Irene. I saw a remarkable picture of Babaloo's dog, Honey, in the woods and asked permission to work with the photograph.

The sample can be found here, the second picture in her post. Click on the picture to see it in its full glory. Tolkien could have walked down this path for inspiration. Thank you, Babaloo .

I added a widget and code to allow people to subscribe via email or a "reader." Also added a Technorati button that allows you to make my blog a "favorite," if you so feel inclined. Voting impact ratings or something and that impacts rankings in a wonderful resource from Kim - her "Top 101 Artists Blogs" listing. I have a button to access this list and so that you can add your blog at her laketrees site.

This is lovely, the greens and purples flow into and out of each other in one of those rhythmic patterns you do so well. I find my eye starting at the upper right corner and working its way back and forth across until the lower left. Then back again. Cool!

I love it. The more I look at it the more I love it. If you allow me I will post your work on my site as well, in a post tomorrow.

My favorite colors purple and green to complement my favorite subject trees. I like the sublimal bark, bark, sit, sit, sit sit throughout. Lovely original photo must go visit Babaloo.

the greens and purples compliment each other perfectly John...
I like the diagonal movement of the green layers...
the photo is wonderfully Tolkienish...and Ireland certainly looks magical...
I could kick myself when I think that I only travelled to Wales...when I was over there..
I will fave you at technorati now ..thanks for the mention and have a great weekend :)

Have gone to Babaloo's site. Being English I have had the opportunity to go to Ireland, and it is very green and unspoilt, as her pictures show. I think it is a place with traditions of legends and magic, leprechauns and such.

I think your picture has a very magical feel.

This image is lovely, as so many of your images are, but some are lovelier than others. I like the fact that the foliage is still recognizable , but chopped up by the tree trunks on the diagonal. Simplicity is a whole art form too, isn't it. I like it!

I am a leprachaun of this woodland, and I thought I would take the opportunity to say how much I like your picture of the wood, and how you have captured the magic of the ancient woodlands.

We are able to blog now as we now have our own mini internet cafes under the tree ferns.

Give my regards to Picasso LOL!!
